The distance

Three sports.
One long day.

An Ironman is 3.8 km of open water, 180 km against the clock, then a marathon. Nick's races are usually decided in the middle chapter.

Swim

Swim / 3.8 km

Stay in touch. Exit the water within reach of the front group and the day is alive. At Cairns 2026 he was out in 50:19, fourth from the water.

Bike

Bike / 180 km

The weapon. Ranked #18 in the world on the bike. At Cairns he took the lead inside 20 km and rode into the second transition six minutes clear.
